(FAQs)
Asian tapas feature complex layers of garlic, soy, ginger, and chili heat. Beverage Director & Sommelier Pakpoom (Tony) Towatcharakun hand-selects wines with high acidity, subtle minerality, or lower tannin structures to elevate these complex profiles without overpowering the food.
Crisp, high-acid whites and sparklings, such as Chablis Premier Cru, Riesling, Albariño, and Crémant, excel with steamed seafood and soup dumplings. For heavier meats like Akaushi Beef or BBQ pork, smooth, low-tannin reds like Morgon Gamay or Pinot Noir are ideal pairings.
Our Curated Trio allows guests to build a personalized 3-glass flight (3 oz or 5 oz pour options) from any of our wines or sakes by the glass priced under $21. It is an ideal way to explore multiple pairings across different tapas.
Yes! During Happy Hour (Tuesday–Thursday from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM), guests enjoy $5 off all wines and sakes by the glass, $10 off bottles under $60, and $20 off bottles over $60.

Nicholas TuTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A hidden gem attached to the Courtyard Marriott. Don't be fooled by the setting - the dim sum is incredibly high quality and everything is executed with care. The har gow are delicate and the crispy shrimp cheung fun was unique - we ordered a second one because we liked it so much. Make sure to ask for extra homemade chili oil (la jiao) for the table. The prices are slightly higher than Chinatown, but you're certainly getting what you pay for. Saitarn KrobpratummaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Silk Road has become one of my favorite dim sum restaurants in Houston. I’ve been coming here since they first opened, and the quality has always been exceptional. Every dish is prepared with care, and the consistency is something I truly appreciate. The menu has a great variety, and you can tell the chef has years of experience. Whenever I’ve had a long day, this is one of the places I look forward to because the food always makes me happy. It reminds me of the incredible dim sum I used to enjoy at five-star hotels in Thailand, which I’ve missed for years. Silk Road deserves so much more recognition. Thank you for staying true to your quality from day one.
